Changing dining

Hi! Considering a particular sailing on the Allure because the timing/costs work for my family. The only issue is I see MTD as the only dining option available. I've had a terrible experience with MTD in the past and would prefer early traditional dining. The other wrinkle? There are going to be 10 of us across 5 reservations. Has anyone had any luck contacting the ship's dining and having it changed? Or any other suggestions! It's been a few years since I have cruised! I don't want to totally eliminate this sailing because of the dining situation. TIA!

I'd see if you can get on the waitlist for early dining. We've had very god luck clearing the waitlist before final payment date.

I had the same problem when I booked HOS 5 months out. I called crown and anchor every Friday, per their advice, and I was switched to late dining per my request about 2 months out. When is you cruise? You will also need to call and have all reservations linked.

Thanks, all! The sailing is in September. I will definitely try to get on the waitlist and keep calling C&A once we book!

Early dining wasn't an option for us when we booked, only the later one. We have to young ones so the early dining with work better for us. I will call and get on that list.
