larry1365 Posted March 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2017 USA Today's Feb 29 website Travel section has a "First look: Inside Viking Ocean Cruises' new Viking Sky," with 109 photos by Gene Sloan. If you tap the first photo you can read the captions. Folks who have cruised on the Sky's two sister ships may notice some subtle differences. The only ones noted by Sloan are a smaller hair salon (due to lighter than expected customer usage) and a larger fitness center.

larry1365 Posted March 1, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted March 1, 2017 Thanks, Peregrina, You are correct. I didn't post a link to USA Today; didn't realize one could. Yes, the link below my signature is to my 2010 Regent World Cruise journal.
Rare Peregrina651 Posted March 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 1, 2017 We can post links to anything we want except for travel agency websites. There are certain website url's that are automatically blocked and those you have to learn the hard way. There are two ways that you can include a link in your post. One way is to just paste onto the page as palermo did. However, this can cause some confusion because, as you see in his post, the server truncates the link on the page. You can't just cut and paste what you see on the screen to share it; you have to right click and "Copy link location" to get the full url. If you want to look really high tech, you can use the button in the toolbar above to insert a link. For example, you can create a link to the USA TODAY article by copying the link you want to share, then highlighting the words turning into the link, click on the and paste the link you just copied. It will look like this on the page: USA TODAY. If you mouse-over it, an underline appears. If you have visited the site, it will appear in a different color on the page (usually red). If you double-click, you will be taken to the website.
Members Rare Cruise Critic Chris Posted March 2, 2017 Members #7 Share Posted March 2, 2017 Hiya! Wanted to note that Cruise Critic is on that same sailing as Gene. Here's our FB album and news story from the christening. We're also going to have a story coming today about the line's stop in Tunisia, and I can post that here as well. CC Chris, we would love to read the article about Viking's stop in Tunisia but please start a new thread; don't bury it here. I am sure that there are a number of people who would like to read the article (including me) who won't see the article if you simply put the link in this thread. Thanks.
