Hop on Hop off, in Sitka

Hi guys, is there a hop on, hop off shuttle in Sitka? Inquiring minds would like to know.

If remember right, there was a excursion you could book on shore that took you to fortress of the bear and one or two other attractions that you could catch any shuttle (of that company) when you were done. But no true hop on hop off like some cities have.

Sitka is a small town. No HOHO bus. Very walkable.

We've been to Sitka a few times, and rode a Ho-Ho. Last time, we just walked around.

 

Googling got me this info, which is consistent with what I remember from several years ago. They are calling it a "summer visitor shuttle" -- no indication when summer starts, so it might be worth contacting the Convention Bureau.

Last time we were in Sitka we took a tour that stopped at many of the places listed for the Summer Visitor Shuttle. It was an "off-duty" school bus. Wondering if this summer shuttle is a school bus too - meaning "summer" may be when the schools are not in session.
