First time on Princess.....Vista Suite Question

My wife and I just booked a Vista Suite on the Coral Princess through the Panama Canal next year as a celebration of our retirements. Is the Vista Suite a worthwhile investment? We looked at the Club Class Balconies, but they cost almost as much as a Vista. What are the benefits that make it worthwhile?

Princess has a good listing of the benefits you get with a full suite, such as the Vista suite, located here on their WEB site:

One of the best benefits we like, is having breakfast in Sabitini's as everything is cooked to order & can get almost any breakfast items. You also get mimiosa's and several different hot drinks.

There are many CC reviews on the Coral. We sailed in D631 last year, the second cruise after drydock and

this is the review we did:

Enjoy the cruise and retirement :)

Vista Suite includes free same day laundry. You can order anything from the MDR when they are up and running and enjoy it on your balcony. Be specific though when you call, if you want salt/pepper for your eggs say so.

Priority tendering, better table location in the MDR and first night free specialty restaurant seating for all in the Vista Suite.

Ohhh, and the view you will get sitting in the loungers on your balcony. When we can we do a Vista Suite and love the experience.

We did a Vista Suite on the Island (before its 'remodel' destroyed the features we love) for the Panama Canal. I heartily echo the recommendation on Sabitinis for breakfast. Free laundry service is quite convenient. We also enjoy the thermal suites - especially with a full transit of the canal and sea days. Several other nice perks on the sheet. We chose to pay the difference - we are not (quite) to the "Elite" level yet and definitely. The Coral is a lovely, uncroweded, ship. Enjoy.

And, if you are not yet Elite status, sailing in a suite gives you 2 cruise credits towards that, instead of just one.

If you are already Elite, you will get two minibar setups, one for your Elite status and one for sailing in a suite.

...and you can exchange one mini bar set-up for 2 coffee cards.
