Here's a link that seems to have a pic of 6197 on Eclipse. Looks pretty good imho:

6201 looks ok too:

Those both have the exact same pic -- so I think it's a stock pic

Don't know about the two you mention but we had 6174 on the Eclipse last year and the top of one of the smaller lifeboats was just about level with the balcony floor. No view down but looking straight out or to stern or port was fine. In fact, we have chosen the same stateroom for this year.

I'm no expert but aren't those cabins 2d? In which case the lifeboat will come up to the level of the balcony handrail meaning you can only see out when standing up. Cabin 6174 is a 2c in which the roof of the lifeboat comes level with the balcony floor

Have 6201. If you cannot see when sitting down need to change it for my friend. Need to find out for sure. 2D category.

We had 2D 6202 on opposite side of the ship and could look out between lifeboat stanchions while seated. HOWEVER, 6201 is portside and nearly directly above the smoking area on Deck 5, so that factor alone would warrant a cabin change for me!

If you are a Captain's Club member from having sailed Celebrity previously you can get a 2C cabin at the 2D pricing. These cabins have the lifeboat top at veranda bottom so you can see out but not down. There are also 2C cabins near the stern of the ship with larger verandas that are out over the dining areas as well as angular cabins (view deck plans) with larger verandas above the lifeboats.
