Labadee workers go on the become ship crew

We were recently on Freedom , and while at guest services, the young fellow that took care on me was from Haiti.I asked if he had worked at Labadee ,

and he said he had. Later that cruise we stopped at Labadee and I mentioned this to the Barefoot Beach concierge , and he replied that they had a lot of their people go on to become crew on the ship.

 

Thought that was interesting.
