Our last house here in Fl had a solar water heater. Ran the dishwasher at noon since the hot water was free. Often thought about getting one for the pool.

The rage around here for condo pools is to install a heat pump, heat in the winter, cool in the summer.

But I did work with a guy from NJ, who came to work one day and said his car was in the shop. I asked what the problem was. He said the horn was broken, and he cannot drive without it. True story.

Craziest driver I have seen was in Istanbul.

Never been on the new bridge. When I-84 was completed, we used the Newburgh bridge.

But the won't last for very long.

When I moved to Ct in the early sixties, after I drove through the city coming from Pa, i vowed never to do that again. Instead , i worked my way to the Tappan Zee bridge. That was too much for this farm boy. Years later, when we started cruising from Bayonne, we took the bus service chartered by RCI to the port. I knew I made the right choice all those years before.

Maybe people don't need the governor to tell them what is needed to stay safe.

She did initially, then she turned to the Tampa area. I thought that she has family there.

Publix works really well so far. There are seven stores in Palm Beach Gardens, so the appointments were scheduled about 10 minutes apart, so no waiting. They had to stop scheduling shots caused by the weather delays, but they just restarted scheduling the first shots again. Second shots were done on the original schedule.

They seem to be sure the new dishwasher will arrive this weekend and will be installing it on Monday. The old one started leaking just after Thanksgiving so I ordered a new one. I had my second shot on Wednesday, felt a little unwell the next morning, but by noon I was just fine. I had the Moderna. DW gets her second shot in 2 weeks.

Except one V is why we are here and the other V is the way out. I hope.
