brianandtanya Posted March 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2017 Looking to book our next cruise in Jan after our May cruise on the Oasis. The specials they have going on now is pretty decent for what we need. However, should we wait to book on board to see if it's cheaper? If we book now, will we miss out on any discounts that would normally be given if booking on board? Thoughts?
cruzgryphon Posted March 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2017 One of the advantages of booking onboard is that you will get an On Board Credit for your next cruise and you get a reduce deposit of $100. What you can do is book now (through Royal Caribbean, not through a travel agent). Then if the rate is cheaper when you get onboard, you can cancel/ change your booking to the onboard rate and associated perks. Don't book through a travel agent as this approach won't work with them (learned that the hard way).
