Miami transportation cost?

Looking for thoughts on the cost of travel from Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell to the Port of Miami for 6 passengers with possibly 8 pieces of luggage. I was quoted $65, It sounded high but we usually travel as a couple. Is that about right?

BTW it isn't a shared service.

 

Was also told no car seat needed for the 3 year old. Is that only with public transportation? We are planning to bring one.

For a private vehicle $65.00 sounds great. While the trip is about 15 minutes normally they are charing a one hour rate.

 

Only way to do it cheaper is say two taxis but with so much luggage if you have one vehicle that can really accommodate all of you and the luggage at the price you were quoted that sounds great.

Should be about $18 - 25 per vehicle for 2 Uber XL's

6 plus bags probably will not fit into an SUV/minivan taxi (especially if any pack like my wife). Two SUV/minivan cabs at a bout $15+tip per cab is what I would do.
