The sail + sign app is part of the online check in process. Myself, I always fill it out online to eliminate having to do it at the port (save time). But, it can be done there is you choose. Your sail + sign is the card you ALWAYS carry with you. It logs you on/off the ship. It opens your cabin door. It is usually associated with a credit card or cash acct and all your transactions onboard are posted to that acct. As mention above, print out + fill out the paper that asks you if you've been sick lately. Again, saves you time/confusion while boarding. Enjoy your cruise!

If you fill out your Sail and Sign application online, you do not have to take a copy of it when you check in at the port. That information will already be on file. All you will need is your boarding pass, your proof of citizenship and as others have mentioned, your health slip that just asks if you have been sick within the past week.

At Fort Lauderdale, they had the health forms on a table inside in case you didn't bring one with you.
