Rizzorp Posted March 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2017 They normally run it a few times throughout the year. The last one just ended a few weeks ago so I will probably be a few months before it happens again.
crzndeb Posted March 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Since you haven't cruised Carnival, make sure you read all the fine print on those reduced deposits. They are usually Early Saver, and that booking category has several rules associated with it.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums Carnival has a reduced deposit offer going on right now "with deposits $50 and up", but only the shortest cruises have $50 deposit, longer cruises have $250 deposit. And, as a previous post stated these sales have restrictions.
cganesh Posted March 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Many longer cruises also have the $50 deposit. The only exceptions to the $50 depisit that I saw were Cuba $75 and Vista & Horizon $150.

Mr and Mrs C Posted March 24, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted March 24, 2017 I called in to get some pricing and the $50 per person deposit only applies if I keep the booking in Usd, and let my credit card convert it to Canadian. Otherwise it is $250 Usd which is equal to about $335 Canadian deposit per person. This was on a 7 day sailing in the Dream. rufflesmom Posted March 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 25, 2017 We just booked today and got a 50% deposit. We did get a past guest rate but I have been getting e-mails from Carnival pretty much every other day with sales, most of which are either $50 deposits or 50% deposits. It might be because of past guest though.
