Lido_Deck Posted March 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Enterprise - $4.95 per day with unlimited mileage and you can keep the car up to 3 weeks. All you have to do is drop the car somewhere outside the State of Florida. So...fly down to Florida for you cruise and then drive back home. https://www.enterprise.com/en/car-rental/deals/florida-drive.html
zdcatc12 Posted March 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Just about every rental car company does this every year. We did Avis last year and drove back to Texas.

Not at $4.95 a day, they don't. Nor will they let you keep the car up to three weeks. All the other car companies are at $10 per day and two weeks max. If you are a member of Enterprise's loyalty program you will get a 5% discount on the $4.95 per day.

I didn't mean literally the exact same deal. I meant that in the spring, most of the rental car companies have Florida drive out sales, just like most of them have Florida drive in sales in the fall. Since you are being literal about it, all other car companies are NOT $10/day with a 2 week maximum. Alamo has the exact same deal, for the exact same price as Enterprise, and you can also save 5% by being an Alamo Insider. Plus, with Alamo, you can pick your own car and save another 10% by pre-paying.
DaveOKC Posted March 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2017 I had heard about these deals but forgot all about them. Too bad I did not figure this out for my upcoming trip! Will keep it in mind for the future. Thanks DaveOKC

Lido_Deck Posted March 28, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Uh...but National doesn't have the deal! National is offering $9.88 per day on full size cars only. They don't have that many locations and cars in South Florida so they aren't as aggressive.
