for the Gem, upgrade bid?

Hi all...I am sailing with 4 adults including me in an oceanview cabin....whats a fair bid to move up to balcony specifically...I bet 100 dollars per persons for the first two adults ....I am trying to surprise those who are coming with me and I know this topic has been covered several times...just trying my luck...thanks

When you bid there's a "gas gauge" that shows your bid as "Poor", "Fair" and so on, what did it show ?

That might give you an idea. Another thing is to see just how many balconies remain and how far out you are from sailing.

Thanks pspercey....I booked at the fair level on the gauge...i'm hoping thats enough to upgrade...would love to have any additional input
