cruising_family Posted April 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2017 I apologize if this has been asked. I've done a search with no results. Feel free to point me in the direction of already posted topic. Anyway, I am wondering if anyone has taken on, or if it's even allowed on RC, a mug warmer or immersion heater for a cup of water for tea. We're headed to Norway and would love to have a cup of tea or hot chocolate in my cabin upon return to the ship or whenever. Do they confiscate them on embarkation that you have heard. Also on the Serenade,is this a typical 110 voltage (like US) in the cabin or do we need voltage convertors. We were on Radiance and Majesty before in the US/Caribbean but want to make sure the voltage is same for our devices. Thanks,
Clarea Posted April 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Power outlets in the staterooms will be two US 110V outlets and one Euro 220V outlet. Any device with a heating element other than a hair appliance is on the prohibited list. If they find it, they will hold it until the end of the cruise. If you are in a JS or better, you will have a kettle and coffee maker.
tomatecerise Posted April 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Contigo travel mugs (or David's tea) stay hot for very long period of time.
