Thanksgiving Sunday Miami / FLL

Anyone travel out of either airport the Sunday after Thanksgiving? How horrible will it be? We are debating about extending the trip...

Every airport in the USA will be crowded the Sunday after Thanksgiving :( -- choose an early flight and arrive at the airport extra early to allow for crowded check-in and TSA security lines.

I will say FLL will be worse, more low cost carriers and more domestic flights. I used to fly the Sunday after Thanksgiving often, once 4 years in a row, and I never had horrible time with lines. But this flying was done from MIA always. Just get there earlier incase security lines are long.
