Norwegian Breakaway- escape rooms

I am going on a big family cruise this Summer on the Breakaway and we are interested in doing an escape room.

 

We are wondering about:

• When they take place
  
• The cost per person
  
• How many people are in a group
  
• How long they take
  
• Age requirements
  
• When and where to make reservations (if needed)
  

 

I know that it's a long list, so it's okay if you only know some details. Thanks!

Same question. Love doing escape rooms. Hopefully someone here can answer for us. I'm going in June, when are you?

 

The ones we have done so far have always been timed to one hour. None were on a cruise.

I did it in February. I booked the first day at the box office (not bookable in advance or on the app). It's free. Wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was fun-- I was solo and was added to a family group.

We did one in March. They were listed in the freestyle daily, in the evening and sometimes during the day on sea days. You can reserve in advance at the box office or show up and go standby. There is no cost.

There were 8 people in our group but some were kids. Iirc it's not recommended for kids under 12, but they let younger ones in to participate with their parents and older siblings. There were definitely parts that my 9yo son could do, others were beyond his abilities.

The time limit was under an hour, I can't recall if it was 45 or 50 minutes.

Can you peak at your Freestyle Dailies and look for an "Escape the Big Top" activity. We will be on the Breakaway in a few weeks and wanted to give it a try (done land-based escape rooms).

I love ESCAPE ROOMS. I am excited that this will be offered. Heading on the Getaway in October. :)
