Retreat Cabanas- Norway to Arctic Circle?

Has anyone rented the Retreat Cabanas on the cruises to Norway up to the Arctic Circle? We are on the Koningsdam this July and were curious if people used them or was it too cold. We have rented the Lido and Retreat ones before, but not on this type of cruise.

That is absolutely an itinerary where you need to be outdoors as much as possible. A sheltered area is good, but I understand the Retreat cabana area is somewhat sheltered. The scenery and fresh air is something not to be missed.

The last time I did the itinerary all the way to North Cape I had a balcony, and was out there at least a portion of every single day. Most of them for many hours per day. I will say that I was lucky in Honningsvag as there was a bitter wind on the higher levels, but my cabin was on the lee side of the ship.
