Alaska - Shore excursions

I booked and pre-paid with Princess for the Shore excursions. I am now rethinking that it might be cheaper and or better schedule to go with a private company. Can someone suggest to me companies they have used. Here is my itineraryJuneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Victoria, British Columbia. Thank you

In Juneau, we have gone with Harv and Marv for whale watching.

I'm taking a flight in Ketchikan.

I might do the Mt. Roberts Tram in Juneau (depending on the weather) &/or "Blue Bus" to Mendenhall

Victoria - local transport to the Fisherman's wharf
