Hyatt Pier 66 Ft. Lauderdale?

How far is the Hyatt 66 from the Publix, please? Is it close enough to comfortably walk there and carry back several bottles of wine?

Probably 1 1/2 miles across the bridge - however - there is a liqor and wine store right across the street from the Hyatt.

Actually it's a mile from the hotel ;)

OK, I'll give you that one - according to route instructions - microsoft - it's 1.1 miles to the corner of Cordova and 17th - the publix is another block or so South. The liquor and wine store (it was there 2 weeks ago) is only about 500ft across the street

Do you happen to know if the Liquor store sells soda too? I am flying in late on the dec 30th and staying at the Pier 66. I'm interested in picking up a 12 pack of diet pepsi for the cruise, and its been a while since I was in a liquor store (living in Germany). The ones I remember didn't carrying anything but booze. Its not the big of a deal, I was planning to have to take a cab to the grocery store anyway, but if its close by, one less thing to worry about.

There is a gas station/convenience store also across the street that has soda, water etc.
