dcipjr Posted April 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Hey folks! We're coming back to Bermuda this year after a trip to the Caribbean last year (which has wonderful, but Bermuda is better!). We still have a sheet of 15 adult 14-zone bus/ferry tickets from last time (2015). There's no expiration date anywhere on them -- no dates at all, that I can see. This would most likely cover us for our entire time on the island. Does anyone know if they're still valid? They're yellow tickets with a red "14 ZONE" text on them.
njhorseman Posted April 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2017 I've used tickets I bought in a previous year. Since they don't have an expiration date they should be good.
dcipjr Posted April 19, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted April 19, 2017 OK great. Do you know whether they still run the "SPECIAL" buses? I had heard they were discontinued?
njhorseman Posted April 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2017 OK great. Do you know whether they still run the "SPECIAL" buses? I had heard they were discontinued? They discontinued them last year. They encourage you to use the privately owned mini buses to get to Horseshoe Bay. The fare on those last year was $7 per person in each direction . You can't use any public transit tickets, tokens or passes as those are only good on the government-run buses and ferries. The private mini bus shuttle system worked very well. As the mini buses fill up they depart, so no concerns about a schedule to follow.
