The Grumpus Posted April 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Can't seem to find any info here on this - does any know if there are any fines or penalties or if it's even allowable for someone to leave the ship in Jamaica, fly to the U.S. for a meeting, then meet the ship and re-board in Cozumel? I know, it sounds crazy but this might actually be what someone in our party is looking at. Thanks!
Rare Captain Funtime Posted April 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2017 I think it might be possible. I had to fly from Cayman to the states mid-cruise. Left my S/O on the ship. Didn't have time to rejoin the cruise but I think it would have been allowed. The cabin was paid for. The Grumpus Posted April 20, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Thanks, that would be the best possibly scenario. I kind of remember reading on here something about there being a fine on the cruise line if a person attempted to leave a cruise early, like if they hated the cruise. I'm going to call RCI tonight but figured I'd get a pretty good idea of what to expect if I mentioned it here.
