MSC Preziosa Oct - Genoa or Marseilles from Dublin?

hi all,

looking at booking a cruise for late October and saw a good deal for a 5 night cruise on Preziosa. Only getting options to embark in either Genoa or Marseilles but both don't seem to have direct flights from Dublin.

Has anyone any experience of getting to either of these ports from Dublin and if so which one would you recommend? Thanks

 

Stop after Genoa is Barcelona which would be ideal but no options coming up for that date

We disembarked in Genoa after a TA from Santos, Brazil. We flew to Paris for a connection to Dublin We had an almost 5 hour wait in CDG - never again!!!

Thanks. I emailed travel agent and she came back with package which included return flights and transfers to Milan. Not sure how far Milan is from genoa.

It's approx a 2 hour drive IINM. Having a transfer from the port to Milan would be the best way to go. You may even manage 40 winks on the bus as disembarkation day is such an early start!

Aer lingus fly to Marseille but possibly only during the summer. It's worth a look though.
