Rambler5678 Posted April 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2017 What extra do you see by taking a excursion that includes the Yukon? Is it worth the extra cost?
Budget Queen Posted April 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2017 You see more scenery and you get into the Yukon. Depends what is of interest to you?
DougH Posted April 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2017 Scenery gets way better once you pass the Summit. You will not regret taking the longer tours.
TheCalicoCat Posted April 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2017 We loved our drive to the Yukon. I believe that it is a different ecoregion (subalpine maybe even alpine) which is different than the forested region closer to Skagway.
