lilkrz Posted April 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Looking to book a cabin on the Getaway. I know other lines do have a few cabins that are categorized as inside but have small port holes in the cabin. Wondering if anyone knows if there is any on the Breakaway class ships and if so what is the category or cabin #.
hawkeyetlse Posted April 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Which other lines have this? NCL does not. Cabins with any sort of window (even if they offer no view) are in the Oceanview meta.
lilkrz Posted April 28, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Carnival has them example on the Conquest class 2211, 2216 have port holes but they only offer a twin size bed with pull down. Mostly singles book these types of cabins. There are about 8 cabins like this in this class that I'm aware of. I've been sailing with NCL lately and wondering if they had such cabins. Inside cabin price with some natural like.
Rare cml4958 Posted April 28, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2017 The studios have windows and they are insides but only for one person. However, they do have connecting studios so that might be an option.
hawkeyetlse Posted April 28, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Right, I wasn't thinking of the studios, but those windows don't offer natural light (they "open" onto the hallway).

Mike_DeA Posted May 1, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 1, 2017 I stayed in one of these cabins on the CCL Sunshine last year. Seems that they are on some older ships, but they are rare, and I don't think NCL has any of this cabin type in their fleet (which are mostly newer ships). Fido Chuckwagon Posted May 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 1, 2017 No, if there is a porthole then NCL is going to classify it as an "oceanview."
