Day in Nice with teen boys

Hi there. Looking for ideas to do in Nice. We will be there day 3 of our cruise (July 25) 7a-7p. We have 2 teen boys 13 and 15. We don't necessarily need a long day as they want to spend time on the ship also. Transportation ideas would be helpful too. Thanks in advance.

They might simply go to the beach. It is a bit rocky but teens might enjoy.

Getting from Villefranche to Nice is straight forward and there are a number of threads on the subject. There are a number of other things you can do in/from Villefranche. What are their interests?

Actually, I was considering staying right in Villefranche and going snorkeling! They also happen to love looking at fancy boats.:)

Another option is hopping train to Monaco to see yachts, car collection and maybe where the Grand Prix takes place, then come back and walk Villefranche. Is this doable?
