If our itinerary says departure is 4:30, is the muster/assembly drill before that time or after that time?

The muster drill is typically just before you leave port. They'll likely have you report 45 minutes or an hour prior to the departure.

Adventure has two muster drills. One around 5pm or so and another around 8:30pm for those that missed the early one.
