One advantage on deck 12 is less salt spray so cleaner balcony, closer to pool and windjammer.

We sailed in cabin 12292 last month. Biggest pro? Just a few decks from the WJ. We also liked the height when you were on the balcony, although I would not pick deck 14, primarily because of the overhang of deck 15. Biggest con? The aft elevators always seem much more crowded than the front elevators.

 

We would not hesitate to book deck 12 again.

We've sailed Oasis deck 12 twice and love it. Very convenient for Adventure Ocean on 14 if you have kids traveling with you.

We were in 12550 (forward) just last week and loved it. Walked the aft portion of deck 12 often heading to dinner and yes, the elevators are busier there, but they aren't next to the rooms, so it shouldn't be a problem. We wouldn't hesitate to book a room on deck 12 again.
