In San Juan for the afternoon... Advice?

Hello,

 

I am planning things out, and still a ways away. But we are going to be in San Juan from 1pm-9pm. I think after a little research we are just going to kinda explore a bit on our own. It is just me and my girlfriend traveling.

 

Was wondering if just walking or taking a cab or something to the forts and then maybe getting a late lunch or early dinner and a drink or two somewhere is a good plan for here?

 

Any tips anyone has would be appreciated.

They have and extended happy hour, enough for a stagger back to the ship in time for dinner.
