v3cruiser Posted January 26, 2019 #51 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Seems many places on shore close after 7pm. Cozumel plus is almost a misnomer. You'd think Cozumel plus you'd be staying at least till 10pm not just an hour longer.
beshears Posted January 26, 2019 #52 Share Posted January 26, 2019 That's a good question. I believe, as someone said, it is because of the next port, and trying to get there on time!

You can find threads about them on the Celebrity board. BTW they are mostly complaints. As for why Carnival does not do overnights? $$$$$$$$$$$$ talks. It's more profitable for the ships to be at sea. Some very lucrative services have to be closed while the ship is in port. Carnival does do overnights, but they are few and far between. The Mexican Riviera cruises have one itin that overnights in PV. This itin will not be available with the Panorama. It costs lots of money to port overnight. We are overnighting in Honolulu on our HI cruise.
