Once st the airport, the Agents were able to merge the records for baggage for that segment . Our flights were on US and SAS, both Star Alliance members. Because of my status on UA, I got an extra bag free going over, when initially checking in on UA. However, when checking in on the SAS ticket coming home, that extra bag cost $100! Thanks for the info We have flown SAS connecting with BA & I guess the cruise line at the time booked on 1 ticket as we had no issues through checking our bags I have never had extra bags or overweight ones so not familiar with that process we have no status with any airline :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
