debandjeff Posted June 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2017 I'm a little confused in my research on this topic. Do I need a type C or E/F adapter for using a 3 prong grounded U.S. plug on Connie?
bigbenboys Posted June 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2017 See post #8. Cabins should have one U.S. and one European outlet. Power outlets on Solstice - Cruise Critic Message Board Forums
Rare markeb Posted June 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2017 I'm a little confused in my research on this topic. Do I need a type C or E/F adapter for using a 3 prong grounded U.S. plug on Connie? No. A Type E/F adapter allows you to use a US three-prong (grounded) dual-voltage electrical device (such as a laptop charger) in a European grounded outlet (can also use a US two-prong). A Type C allows you to use a US non-grounded device. The three-prong outlets on the ships are generally the same as ashore; no adapter needed for a US 110-120V device. Edited to add: The adapter will allow you to use the European outlet IF your devices are dual/multi-voltage, such as most electronics.
Rare Essiesmom Posted June 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2017 OP is asking about M class, not S class. These are the outlets for M class Concierge/Aqua class will have the same number, but arranged differently. EM
