transfer times whittier to anchorage

Does anyone know what time the motorcoach transfers run from Whittier to Anchorage? Also, is it early enough to make a 3:00 flight?

Everyone is off the ship by 10am and in Anch. by 12, unless you are on a tour.

Yes plenty of time to make a 3pm flight out of Anchorage. On average, it's about 1 1/4 hour plus tunnel time, Whittier to Anchroage airport via Seward Highway, 2++ hours via cruise contracted train, goes directly to the airport.

If you are on Princess, the trains do not go to the Airport Train Station.

We are on Princess. So where would they drop us off? Do they include transportation to the airport or do you have to take a taxi?

You can get a Princess Transfer to the Airport or to the Downtown Hospitality Center, usually the Egan Center.

I saw the Princess train sitting there in August??? All now go to the downtown depot??? Does any contracted train stop at the airport??

Other companies use the same train on non Princess ship days. Other companies use the Airport Depot. I don't think you will see the train there on Saturdays or Mondays. The 2 trains that Princess runs continue up North to Denali and Talkeetna, so stopping at the Airport makes than lose time. The ARR train cars that Princess uses makes the Talkeetna Turn and that is on a tight schedule to get up there and then return to Whittier.
