Norwegian Breakaway Haven pool

I've been doing some reading and I came across some articles regarding the size of the Haven pool on the breakaway. Is it big enough to actually swim in or is it more of a standing/relaxing pool?

No real "swimming" in any ship swimming pool. The fresh water Haven pool is more for standing and cooling down. They usually keep the roof closed while the ship is underway since the use the space as an extension to the dining room.

Haven pools on Jewel-class ships are endless "swim against the current" exercise pools and are excellent for swimming.

Not quite sure what the allure of loungers in a pool of water is vs a bigger pool. That being said, the size of the pool is great for kids. Was never really crowded during our last Haven stay - the hot tubs can get over-run though. Certainly nothing like the main pool - no fighting for loungers! It's funny - no matter the cruise line, the biggest "recreational" complaint always seems to be the size of the pool. You would think that some bright engineering mind would find a good solution.

The loungers in the water are great for a parent to sit in while their kids are in the pool. Close enough to keep an eye on them and refreshing! They are my go-to seat!

One of the challenges of the Breakaway is that the Havens courtyard is an extension/overflow seating for the restaurant. Once upon a time, the courtyard was a place with loungers to sit and read (e.g., Epic courtyard). On the BA, it is full of tables and people having breakfast and lunch.
