kokopelli-az Posted June 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Anyone stayed at this hotel lately (8020 Tarak St)? We are considering staying there precruise in January. How is the hotel and its restaurants? There are no recent threads about this place.
Reader0108598 Posted June 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Hi yes I have, very bad stay. I was there in May. Management in effective non responsive. (Seriously not a picky person) Will not be treated or ignored like that ! Please check tripadvisor and the Verdanza website. Shame because we had a good time the previous stay. Your experience doesn't sound very good. I did check TripAdvisor and the 2017 reports were basically positive, which was why I was considering the Verdanza. Plus I like that it is close to the Embassy Suites if I want to walk over there. I have some time (cruise isn't until Jan 2018) so maybe there will be some more feedback. Thank you. BTW do not expect hot water for your showers. We have also stayed at Embassy suites ...nice place! Not saying it is a bad place...staff are for the most part nice. If you do have an issue they do not will not make it right! That is not acceptable to me. Fred&Lily Posted June 19, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Just booked a room for one night post-cruise in January 2018. It's one of the few places along Isla Verde Beach that doesn't have the three-night minimum stay enforced during the San Sebastian Music Festival. We will be in San Juan overnight on Jan 12 2018 so will miss the festival. Still seriously considering the Verdanza. Good reviews on TripAdvisor. JUST TRIPPIN' Posted July 14, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 14, 2017 We have stayed here three times and will be staying here again in Jan. Love the location. Two blocks to the beach. Grocery store close by. Nice pool and we really like the burger restaurant on site. The rooms are smaller but clean and quiet. Very friendly staff. Last but not least...great prices with no surprise resort fees. Booked on LMT dot com. Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Forums mobile app

Last but not least...great prices with no surprise resort fees. Booked on LMT dot com. Just booked Verdanza for one night in January 2018. It can be cancelled in case we change our mind. But there is a resort fee, it's about $22 per night. LMT dot com no longer has a website but using the whole name of the agency dot com works. I like that Verdanza is one block from the Embassy Suites in case we want to try our luck in the casino ;)
JUST TRIPPIN' Posted July 15, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 15, 2017 You are right and I admit I was wrong. The resort fee is included in the price. We stayed at the La Concha resort once and were surprised by the resort fee they added on once there. We were still very pleased with the reasonable price of the Verdanza compared to many others. For lunch try the El Alambique at the end of Tartak on the beach. Enjoy your stay! Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Forums mobile app
