Allure Question

Recommended Posts

It has been said here that the CK dining room food is generally better than the Main Dining Room food. I am wondering if the Specialty Dining food is generally better than Main Dining Room food as well. If you had to rate the three options in order of which had the best food, what would that be?

Thanks.

It depends on the restaurant. Allure has seven.

And food is EXTREMELY subjective.

If you held a gun to my head, I would rank them:

Coastal Kitchen

specialty restaurants

MDR

I agree with your rankings.

Best food and most enjoyable dining experience are different. For us the best aspect of CK was a quieter, much less crowded room with more attentive and personal wait staff. The food was not memorable, but it was a bit warmer when it reached the table, compared with MDR.

We most enjoyed Giovanni's and Chops, and would return to each without hesitation. Samba was ok, but the Solarium was quite warm, and the meat server wasn't helpful.

Food at MDR was better that we expected and we would return there to eat, but only after the peak. The crowds and waiting, both to get table and then eat, though, put us off.
