Is there an organisation you can go to for licensed tour companies if you have issues

After 50+ private tours, we had a horrible experience with a private tour.

 

When I emailed them to express my disappointment (politely) they immediately blamed me for a review on tripadvisor (which wasn't mine) and then blamed the guide and me for their issues.

 

They failed to reply to my emails after that and despite claiming on tripadvisor to one of our tour partners that they would have refunded if they had emailed, they did no such thing. Nor even a partial. (prepaid tour)

 

I am not normally a complainer but this was a disaster despite all the emails, etc. To make it worse it was my tour. They combined us with another tour (even though ours was private). We lost all flexibility, museums, etc.

 

So, I have posted my review on tripadvisor and now, they have posted their response with LIES. Not untruths, not misunderstanding, lies. I have reported their post, but I doubt Tripadvisor will remove it.

 

I have done some searching but gotten nowhere.

 

I would like to report the company for failure to deliver and the lies and misinterpretation.

 

Can anyone help? Or is there no protective organisation in France? thanks :)

I suppose you could try the tourist board office. Or ask on the Paris forum on Tripadvisor as I am sure somebody there will know.
