We are looking for a land tour in on this day... any one else sailing on the QV and docking in Crete? Is the Cunard land tour to Knossos worth taking ???? Thanks for any advice you may have to offer

Hi, to find others who might be interested in sharing a tour with you, and to exchange info on your ports, you need to post this on your Roll Call where you will find fellow pax.

 

Go to Cunard Roll Calls, Queen Victoria, and look for your sail date.

 

If there is no Roll Call already there, consider starting one.

Knossos is just at the back of the town, so cheap in a taxi. You can pick up an official guide at the entrance for €10.

You can get to Knossos easily by bus or taxi. I'd reccommend you go as early in the day as you can, as it gets very busy & will be hot in August. The archaeological museum in the city is superb, it holds most of the antiquities found in Knossos & elsewhere in Crete, some of which are pretty mind-blowing, with good explanations, in a nice modern, air-conditioned setting.

Sorry, I don't know. We were on a land holiday and had a hire car.
