Bidding for upgrade when you book after final payment?

Just curious, if you book a cruise after final payment, with approx. 60 days to go, do you still get the opportunity to bid for upgrades?

 

I did try to search but didn't see anything on this and also will admit I didn't read the entire long thread about people's success (or not) with bidding. I'm just curious if you will still get the email to bid if you book after those emails have gone out for the rest of the cruise?

I can tell you the answer is yes. I booked a cruise sailing 7/23 just last Friday, and have already received 2 upgrade emails.

Yes, no problem on either the old system or the new one.

I booked a cruise 6 days before sailing and got the offer to upgrade 2 days after booking, soon after the cabin assignment came.

Bidding opens about 80 days out. And continues until 2 days prior to cruise.
