Got the upgrade, but web site still shows the old luggage tags... System glitch?

Recommended Posts

They told me to reprint my set sail pass, which I did, but the luggage tags that are there still show the old room number. Has anyone had this happen before? Will this be an issue?

This has happened to me several times. If you want to print luggage tags before you leave call RCCL up and have them reissue your documents. It usually takes 12 to 24 hours to update them then you are good to go.

Just take a marker and write the correct cabin # on your printed out luggage tag

The porters at the port do the same, they just write it on a blank tag

The only potential issue is if they look at the shaded in section of the ship diagram on the tag they may initially send your luggage to the wrong sector delaying the delivery.

You can call / email and have them re-issued..

Obviously it would be too hard to have a piece of code that says

'Stateroom Changed' = 'Yes' AND 'Edocs Issued' = 'Yes' THEN 'Re-issue Edocs + Luggage Tag'

And if all else fails, just go to the cabin you were originally booked up and grab your luggage from the hall like we did.

Yup, we had an upsell GS to CL2 and all luggage was at GS.

Marked our bags...............................but still delivered to wrong cabin.

Good luck.
