Sequim88 Posted July 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2017 Having recently done a HAL cruise to Alaska we were really disappointed in the evening main theater shows. A comedian, a magician/comedian, a crew/staff show, a BBC Earth movie done to live music and a reprise of the comedy guys. Granted Alaska cruises are not about the entertainment but we had to wonder if that was just HAL or if we do RCCL again we'll see this as yet another area of cutbacks. RCCL has always been, in our book, very strong on the theater shows. Still the case?
Clarea Posted July 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2017 On a typical 7-day cruise, you will either see a real Broadway show (Oasis and Quantum classes, plus Liberty and Indy), or two production shows. In addition there will be a two or three headliners (comedian, magician, juggler, singer, tribute act, etc.).

George C Posted July 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2017 Entertainment or lack of, is one of the main reasons we went back to RCCL after a few cruises on Hal. if Voyager or bigger you also have the Ice show which is amazing
