Barcelona: Where store luggage?

Recommended Posts

Hello,
Our cruise ends in Barcelona but we have almost a full day before we fly out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where (near the port) we could safely and inexpensively store our luggage while we explore the city and then collect later when we have to leave?
Thanks for any info,
David

Storing luggage is a real problem because of security concerns. I can think of two possible solutions. You could take a taxi to the train station (its in town) and store your luggage at the storage room (they will probably open and search all your luggage). My other idea is that you go to the official tourist web sitehttp://www.barcelonaturisme.com/#
and click on the "English" flag. Than look in the index and there is a window that lets your send a personal request to the tourist office (they do understand English). You could tell them your problem and see if they have a recommendation. I suspect that there might be a small hotel that would hold your luggage for a price.

Not sure if you are arriving in Barcelona ahead and staying at a hotel. If you are perhaps you could arrange for your hotel to hold the bags for the day of your return.

We had the same question, but noticed that RCCL/Celebrity has post-cruise tour in Barcelona for 4 hours (under $40 per person) and after this tour they transfer you to your hotel/airport.

We have the same problem. our flight leave at 8pm, even with the Celebrity 4 hour city tour, we still get stuck at the airport for a long time. Any one know which hotel that will rent a day room for us to store our luggage and freshen up before head out to the airport?

I have contacted with Barcelona city council and these are the addresses where you can store luggage:

then "DIRECTORIES", then "TRANSPORTS", then "LEFT LUGGAGE OFFICE"
This is the complete link:
