Solstice Oct 2 Honolulu to Sydney Internet

Has anyone done transpacific on Solstice and did you buy unlimited internet? How was it - was it worth the $200+ ?

We just did the Hawaii to Vancouver on Solstice and really enjoyed unlimited wifi for our IPAD. It allowed us to stay in touch with family, post pictures and to have face-time with our kids via Facebook messenger. The Face-time, was a bit broken up, but still we enjoyed it. We will take it again on our next cruise.

Hello, I sailed on the Tahitian Treasures cruise in April. Although, in the opposite direction. I had the unlimited internet package. I was able to send emails, use social media, face time and iMessage. I don't know about streaming films, because I didn't try. If you are Elite you get a discount, but you have to ring them to order the package. It cost my £139 for the 18 nights. For me it was worth it.

We did the Honolulu to Sydney cruise last year.The internet worked fine and was much faster than anticipated. It was a pleasure to have wifi throughout the ship. Having unlimited access helped pass many lazy hours, there are a "lot" of sea days on the amazing itinerary! We also enjoyed the Apple seminars and the Beyond the Podium lecture series.
