jimboagogo Posted July 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2017 Is it me or have the price points sky-rocketed or what? ...... did I miss a memo!!!!
Mr. Click Posted July 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2017 Prices are always going up and down. They make "educated" guesses on demand and set their prices accordingly. If their guesses are wrong the prices drop. We did a Med cruise last year that was reasonable when we booked, then rose about $1800 going into final payment and then suddenly they found themselves with lots of empty cabins after final payment and the price dropped to $2000 below what we originally paid....so just keep looking and tracking. THings always change.

If it drops, call - sometimes while what you originally booked might not change much, a higher category may drop and you can upgrade for a minimal difference. We did that for our next cruise this Dec. Concierge class dropped considerably after we booked our balcony, so we upgraded to a better cabin and concierge class for $40. Kept all our perks as well. broadwaybaby123 Posted July 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2017 I would also speak with your TA as it is their job to make sure that you get the best price.
