    Cool Cruiser
  1. Usually a few weeks out, but I don't print them out until the say before I leave. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app

  3. I'm r3ading one now called "Starboard Secrets". It centers around a girl named Millie who just caught her ex-husband cheating on her with her best friend (hence the "ex"). He was a private eye. She decides she wants some adventure in her life, so she applies to be an Assistant Activity Director on a cruise ship....and gets it! But less than 10 min after she sets foot on the boat, a murder happens that she tries to solve. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app
  4. Last time (which was last month) it lasted about a week for me. But in all honesty, we had a medical emergency with one of the crew members which may have contributed to it. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app

  6. No limits from my understanding, but you will lose incentives. I had to cancel and rebook this year for medical reasons, and as a result I lost my free drink package. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app
  7. They'll tell you all the info with timing you need to know on the ship. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app
  8. I've been cruising Celebrity since I was 5 years old...my very first cruise was with them. I'm 30 now and not once did I feel out of place due to my age. There were always tons of kids and teens aboard, as well as young adults. I've cruised Royal Caribbean too, and had the same results. It just comes down to preference. I love both but I prefer some of the activities of Royal Caribbean than Celebrity. But I like Celebrity's food better overall. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app
  9. I've never cruised in January, but I've done 3 Carnival cruises (out of 17!). It's hard to get lounge chairs, but it can get a little hairy on whether or not or if you can reserve them. If you do decide to reserve them you have to get up super early in the morning to do it. Otherwise most will be taken. It's not hard to get into the main show lounge in the evening but it is hard to get into the comedy shows. When I went last year on The Pride, in some cases the comedy lounge was Standing Room Only. My mom and I even got turned away one night from the comedy lounge because there wasn't any room. Definitely can be smokey, even if you avoid the smoking areas. Its ok on any cruise to just be mellow. Don't try to do everything, it's just not possible. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app

  11. You can always go back early...you can get on and off the ship as many times as you want, as long as you're back by the time specified on the daily flyer. Depending on if the ship is anchored or not at the port, the cruise line will provide transportation from the land to the ship. However, they won't provide transportation to the pier unless you're on an excursion booked through the cruise line. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Forums mobile app
  12. I'm keeping an eye on the storm as well, as my aunt is currently on Oasis Of The Seas. We both live in NE, and it depends on two things in regards to when/if the hurricane hits us: the track and the intensity. Most of the time though, if we get anything it's rain. With that said, you may get rerouted to a new destination. That just happened with Norwegian out of Boston to Bermuda.
