Can anyone who has been on Reflection this past summer tell if you docked or tendered in Mykonos? Knowing this will help with our planning for our August sailing. Thank you.

Been there twice on Reflection and been docked. There is a free shuttle bus as it can be quite a walk in the heat.

Goto www.cruisetimetables.com if you are the only ship in port that day, you will dock. If you coincide with another ship the large ship normally wins. Glad to hear that Celebrity now offer a free shuttle, last time we docked they charged $10pp return to a carpark near the town. There is a car hire place near the car park, driving around Mykonos is easy - cost us €37/day for a small C1.

I didn't see any taxis or anything else where we docked (but that doesn't mean there wasn't any). We took the shuttle (no wait - there were plenty of buses) to town and then walked up to the taxi stand. Getting a taxi can be a task - we were lucky. We got one after waiting about 10 minutes others said the wait could be an hour. If you have phone service (we didn't) you can call for one or just wait like we did. Coming back from SuperParadise, again we were lucky. Someone was dropping off people there when we went out.

Thanks again, all of this is helpful. Unfortunately we are one of six ships that day! I guess we have to be prepared for either scenario. We are trying to plot the best course to Elia beach. I remember the last time we were there it was a little tricky finding the bus stop. We were hoping to catch a cab to the beach to get there early and take a bus back.
