tinaincc Posted August 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2017 I just went to book Alcoves for our upcoming 11 day trip and in the fine print it says that if you book on board you will receive a discount for booking multiple days. Does anyone know what the discount is? I am afraid to wait for fear they will sell out and I also don't want to call Celebrity, figured that you experts will know better! long time lurker Posted August 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2017 I have prebooked for our upcoming Reflection cruise. I was told when I booked over the phone that the discount is 20%, but is not applied until I am on board. I was told to go to guest services and an onboard credit will be applied. long time lurker Posted August 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2017 The Alcoves are "cabana" type spaces on the lawn on the Silhouette, Reflection and Solstice. Go to google images and you can see pictures

Thank you for the info - did you book all the sea days or just a couple in order to qualify for that 20%?
long time lurker Posted August 2, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2017 We actually booked for the entire sailing (before the price increase). We had booked these previously on the Silhouette and enjoyed it so much we wanted to have it the whole time. With the current price increase we may never be able to do that again. johhnnyt Posted August 3, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 3, 2017 I booked for 5 days (all sea) on a Reflection TA last year, when I saw the bill, they only charged me for three days, so I was happy
Sonoma fans Posted August 3, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 3, 2017 We always book for the week and get the 20% which equates to a free day for 7 day cruises with old pricing. You Need to go to guest relations or it will not be applied!
keithm Posted August 3, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 3, 2017 sailing on Eclipse in January, haven't been on Celebrity in many years, what are Alcoves. thanx, Mike in CT No alcoves on the Eclipse. On Reflection, it's kind of like the "Sanctuary" on the Regal.
tinaincc Posted August 8, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted August 8, 2017 Is it risky to wait to book until I board? Also, if it is raining or really windy on a day you have reserved and want to cancel do they give you a hard time?
