  1. We are currently on board and on the following cruise as well. We have not heard anything. How did you receive this information?
  2. Another good read on the topic… The Great Halifax Explosion by John U Bacon
  3. The status changes continue to advance on each line. It is not a one time status match. If your status advances on one line it advances on the other also.
  4. @ARandomTraveler you cracked the code. Thank you, I was able to find what I was looking for.
  5. Thank you @Justmekaren918 We are not traveling until October. We have been away from Royal since 2019 so unfamiliar with the current rotating menus. Just hoping to get an idea of what is available.
  6. Thanks for trying Biker 19. I am unable to find that link
  7. I can “shop” for another cruise, but the current sailing does not show. I would like to look at menus in the dining room, but do not seem to be able to.
  8. Can you tell me how to set the app to the current sailing please.
  9. Yes, when I have redeemed mine in the past it is refundable OBC.
  10. I believe all sunset verandas on S class are the same, excluding suites.
  11. Same happened to us doing specialty dining in San Juan. Apparently sales tax is included in US ports. I just won’t book specialty dining now if a late departure in US ports.
  12. As a Celebrity/RCI cruiser I can explain the changes to the loyalty program announced yesterday. The RCI group added Silversea brand to the status match program. Previously the luxury line in the brand was Azamara, but that partnership ended a couple of years ago. As to the matching tiers, the change now allows matching across all levels. Previously the status match ended at the Elite/Diamond level. There are 2 levels above that (Elite Plus, Zenith on Celebrity and Diamond Plus, Pinnacle on RCI) that previously had to be reached independently on each line. What I like about the status match is having started on RCCL it made it easier to “graduate” to Celebrity.
  13. The 3 night sailings have not started yet in the Reflection.
  14. My understanding is that it is midnight where the ship is currently homeported. Therefore, it would depend on whether the ship is in Europe yet.
  15. I just redeemed mine and had to call Celebrity. I called Captains Club and they transferred me to the redemption department. They were able to see the redemption and applied it manually. I called after about a week.
  16. Yes, she can create her own login. She would then add the booking to her profile using the booking number and able be to handle her own check in. One thing you can do for her though, is select her check in time for the pier. This will allow her to have the same time slot as you.
  17. If you have a package, you just pay the difference between the package limit and the drink price, with gratuity. So if the difference is $2.00, you will be charged $2.40 (20% gratuity). Celebrity does not issue cups. The soft drinks are served in cans when ordered.
  18. If these are upcharge items since there is no Alfredo’s, are they covered by the Premium Package casual dining inclusion?
  19. We did the Spring Transatlantic on the Beyond. Yes, the World Class Bar is there. It is tucked in above the Martini Bar on the deck above.
  20. You get the suite amenities, not the aqua amenities, so you lost access to the thermal suite. I have heard mixed answers on access to Blu. As to the wifi and drink upgrade drink package, those do not come with the move up bid, so keep them if you want them.
  21. Are your children in your cabin, or in a nearby cabin? If they are in their own cabin I do not believe your purchase would require one for them.
  22. Unless things have changed the only items charged for in Eden are the bar and fine dining restaurant. Everything else is included in your fare.
  23. Welcome to Celebrity. I hope you find it to be a good fit. I presume you have already verified that your reciprocal status is recorded. The wine limit can be confusing. It was 2 bottles per stateroom, then became 2 bottles per person, and the current policy is 1 bottle per person. I do not think it is required to be in carry-on, however I find that is easier and does not risk a trip to the “naughty” room. As to the 2 drinks per day, that is incorrect. Elite members have free drinks from a limited menu from 5-7 daily, except embarkation day. They recently reinstituted a happy hour lounge for a few nights on some sailings, I believe, but the drinks are never counted against a maximum.
