Pierlesscruisers Posted August 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2017 NOTICE: Effective immediately 4 Aug, 2017, CBP is no longer requiring guests to fill out a customs declaration at Pier 91 in Seattle, UNLESS THEY HAVE PURCHASED MORE THAN THE DUTY-FREE LIMIT ($800 PER PERSON) DURING THE CRUISE. The vast majority of guests now can clear CBP with only their passport or birth certificate + photo ID! So, see, you haven't even arrived at the pier yet and things are already getting easy for you to go on your cruise! :D Tom
Rare Keith1010 Posted August 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2017 Tom, thanks for sharing this. It will be interesting to see if they do this at other USA ports going forward. Keith

Rare Keith1010 Posted August 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2017 Glad to hear that. On a related note for a couple of years now Fort Lauderdale has offered Global Entry. Any idea with this change if any of these other ports are offering it? Keith
cruzgryphon Posted August 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2017 Also wondering if this would apply to non-US citizens as well?
