Parking in Boston?

Has anyone done this before? How far is the parking from port? We may be able to get a ride up and back but just in case I'm looking into parking there as well. We will have a 6 month old with us.

Here's the info from the Massport web site. http://www.massport.com/cruiseport/to-from-cruiseport/parking-directions/

 

It looks like you're sailing on the Dawn, so you should be able to get the prepaid rate of $19/day. The parking is close, but they do run shuttle buses. It may be worth while to drop off the luggage and one parent and child while the other circles around to park.

EDIC parking garage will be on your left as you enter the port area. These is also an open air parking lot for cruise passengers. Check the Massport web site for updated info regarding parking at Flynn Terminal and special pricing for cruise passengers.

You can drive in to drop your luggage, then swing around to park. It's a short walk to the terminal.

Ok - so you don't really live close enough for a car service to be competitive price versus parking at the pier for a week.

 

I assume the train plus cab is not a good option with a six month old either.

Ya I think that would be a bit much. Hoping we can get a ride from a parent but if not I'll likely droop the wife and baby off with bags and then park. Thanks for the links and advice everyone!
