Restaurant Recommendation for Anniversary Dinner - Fort Lauderdale

Leaving in a few weeks on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. We're staying at the Best Western Plus Oceanside on Seabreeze Avenue on the night before (will be a Saturday night). We'd like to have a nice meal that night to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We won't have a car, but plan to Uber/Lyft where we need to go.

 

We both are meat and potato eaters so we'd prefer a good steak. Any recommendations in the area or a reasonable car ride away? It doesn't have to be formal, just a good atmosphere and enjoyable meal.

I have heard good things about YOLO http://yolorestaurant.com/ its not too far away in a nice location in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Make sure to make a reservation.

Steak 954 (W Hotel) - upscale

Chima (Las Olas Blvd) - Brazilian steakhouse - beautiful courtyard

Timpano (Las Olas Blvd) - I believe the have a $35 special for a 3-course meal.

Morton's (Downtown)

 

I like J Mark's (Federal Hwy & NE 13th St); their rib-eye is amazing. Very casual, popular with locals.
